We see these episodes that have either been done or are so similar that they aren't any good. There's been so MANY trek episodes, do you think that some original thinking will come into play, I dunno, this century???

Frankly, I have no idea how the show survived this long anyway. The characters aren't very interesting or original, but for some reason the thing that annoys me the most is the bland scenery. If you watch Voyager or TNG, the interior of the ship is very obvious, and I'm sure many trekkies know it like the back of their hands. But with Enterprise (despite the few episodes that it has) it seems the only thing they have is an ugly bridge, a ready room and a whooole lotta hallways.

Oh there's no such thing as something being burnt out. It's like Harry Potter movies or Austin Powers, they'll just keep going until something amazingly cataclysmic happens to stop it all. i.e.: the world explodes. But that's it.

Star Trek(s) are great shows because they have damn good writers. If there was a new one all they would need was an amusing new setting (like something other than an exploratory vessel). They just can't do that, for some reason

star trek writers are totally out of ideas, they are ruining star trek with the timeline errors, and rick berman is killing the entire franchise, star trek is burned out there is hardly any new ideas any more let alone original ones
