apparently her character died so she was no longer assigned as the defiants cloak operator but she died in the simulation and therefore should technically be alive!
I think if they kept her in the series it would be a good addition much like enterprises T'pol

I think the DS9 crew was well enough off without a Romulan breathing down their neck the whole time. Especially like in episodes where they used the cloak in the Alpha Quadrant (they're not supposed to), then T'Rul would've busted Sisko.

yeah but I still beleive that a vulcan national or an attashe assigned by the Tal Shiar to the defiant would make an interesting addition
