Both will undoubtedly be popular. However, I think the SW movie will be slightly more popular, since EVERYONE will see it sooner or later.
Star Trek Nemesis won't necessarily be on the "have to see" list for non-fans.

Yes, but I think Star Wars will do better, even though personally I like Trek alot more, but Star Wars is more popular.

It is torture that SW will have a new movie out before
ST but such is the way of things. As long as sci-fi
movies do well at the box office, the more chance
we have that the movie studios will continue to make
them. That is our long-term hope......

Well, I'm looking forward to both SW:AOTC and Trek X, so I don't mind which is out first.
Before either of them, though, in Jan will be the TV movie Babylon 5: Legend Of The Rangers. I'm really looking forward to that.

cummon as long as the fans support the film it will do absoulouly fine and plus star trek has been going 4 35 years and is going to go on 4 much longer and star wars wont match star treks success ever and do they have a name 4 their fanse we have trekkers and trekkies.

I just saw the New Trailer for itt and omg it shows the enterprise getting blown up!!!
Ok here is my beef!! You know how on the last episode of TNG Q and Pircard are talking and Q starts to tell him the secret to life or sumtin like that. and Q says they have much more time.. Well that emplys a movie... but this movie says its the generations final mission or sutim like that... well it is like there are no moe movies after that!!!  it doesnt make sence!

i saw the second trailer as well and it is inconclusive whever is gets damaged or destroyed, but, as it was crashing into the warbird, the ship is going sort of slow and crushing it and we did not see the whole thing 'blow up' and i have 2 goto work tommorow, well today actually, and im very tired

Star Wars is, and forgive me, a bit easier to grasp. More little kids would go to SW than ST. I like both, but I think Star Trek X is mostly for fans who understand the story. (and there's a lot of those, so....)

in this magizine I read it said that if star trek X doesnt make enough money it is going to be thier last movie so i suggest that we all go to the theather on the certain day so we can should Rick berman and others that we WANT another Movie!!

I miss Q. I wish they had him in Nemesis. It would make sense, since this is probably the last thing TNG cast will do, and Q was there from the beginning. I'm glad they got Woopi Goldberg to do the movie though.
