Final Fantasy I - 6/10
Started the series. What else can I say? Kind of a Dragon Quest rip-off. A good one, though!
Final Fantasy II - 7/10
Finally! The game has named characters with a story! The gameplay was "meh" and I hated the experience system.
Final Fantasy II - ???

Final Fantasy IV - 9/10
Yes! We have the ATB (Active Time Battle)! Plus, we have great characters and a halfway decent story!
Final Fantasy V - ???

Final Fantasy VI - ???

Final Fantasy VII - 1000000/10
Need I say more? Red XIII is the best!
Final Fantasy VIII - 10/10
I liked the sci-fi vibe. The characters (besides Squall and Rinoa...*shudder*) were good.
Final Fantasy IX - 9/10
Hate the story...Hate the chatacters...Love the gameplay.
Final Fantasy X - 10/10
I loved the new battle system
Final Fantasy XI - ???

I thought FF7, FF8, and FF10 were the best. Although FF8 got kind of boring after a while. I thought FF7: Advent Children was awesome though! The graphics were beautiful. I have the movie on DVD, the special edition. I hope they remake FF7 for the PS3. I can't wait for FF12 to come out for the PS2. I have it on reserve.

I played almost every final fantasy out there, and 2 years ago I finished FF7.
Before that I mainly played my precious FFX. For years the question roamed my mind, is there something better then FFX? FF7 seemed like the obvious solution. Since everybody has been absolutely buzzing about this game, I needed to give it a try and eventually finish it!
And that finally gives me an answer on my everlasting question: Is FF7 better then FFX? and the answer is no IMO!.
The story of both is just as good and well set up but the thing is: The graphics of FFX allow the story to be greater and to create a more intense experience. (not that I am a graphic freak, you must definitly not think that i love FFX more then pure of its plain graphics, its more then that)
For example if a person in FF7 is angry, sad or is displaying an other importent emotion, you see the character raising a fist or givin obvious gestures of its current emotion. The text balloons always suffice in these situations but if you compare this with the scene in FFX. When tidus finds out about yuna's secret in albhed home. This is so very much more intenser, the animation, the emotions which flows through every pixel and which is enhanced by the good voice acting. This's just more appealing to me.
Or the another example the scene: The last chapter, check my sig for the dialogue, that little movie sphere says so much bout tidus feelings at that time. This just wasnt possible in the early FF's.
So my conclusion: The stories are both great (so is the music and gameplay) but FFX is better in my opinion coz you are closer in the game, more intenser, less thoughts of the real world pass by, more fantasy! as if you are livin it, Right there in Spira!

A city dead for a thousand years. A city I had to see with my own eyes. The end of Yunas journey. The last chapter in my story.
