Exactly, and so I simply can't see what the debate is about. A small group of cells can hardly be called a life. I respect Leo Wyatt's opinion about "not punishing the child for the sin's of the father", but i'm a firm believer that having an abortion or taking an emergency contraceptive is not taking a life in any regard. So, I can hardly blame a woman who was raped, or lured into bed under the influence of drugs or alcohol, for not wanting to spend 9 months with a constant reminder of what happened inside of her. Even if a woman wasn't raped, and her birth-control method failed or her partner's condom broke, that doesn't mean she should be forced to sacrifice the life she had planned just for the sake of a small group of cells.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - In a major turnaround, Wal-Mart will begin stocking Plan B contraceptives -- commonly referred to as the "morning-after pill" -- at all of its pharmacies, the company said Friday.
"We expected more states to require us to sell emergency contraceptives in the months ahead," said Ron Chumiuk, vice president of Pharmacy for Wal-Mart, in a statement.
"Because of this, and the fact that this is an FDA-approved product, we feel it is difficult to justify being the country's only major pharmacy chain not selling it."
Wal-Mart pharmacies in Massachusetts were required to carry emergency contraception pills after the state's pharmacy board ruled in February in favor of three women who filed complaints against the retailer. (Full story)

I saw that in the paper this morning. Funny, even through the black and white text they didn't seem too happy about the decision 
But on a serious note: It is rather ridiculus that they were the only major pharmacy not selling it.

I was raped and beaten when I was 19. If I'd gotten pregnant, I guarantee you I would have killed myself.

There's no excuse for abortion, adoption is always avalible. |
Adoption is not always an option. There are already too many kids in adoption centers who have no hope of being adopted. After age 4, the chance of being adopted drops to less than 15%.
