Is smoking inside seriously a problem everywhere else? i didn't know that it was. Here, the only indoor places people are allowed to smoke are IHOP and Village Inn. There aren't even smoking sections anywhere else, no restaurant, or any kind of other building. There may be a law against it, I think.

that's not at all what I was talking about.

maybe you should read my post again. I asked if smoking inside is a problem everywhere else. like if you actually have to deal with smoking indoors because I've never had to deal with it where I live

and I prefer to go with Neelix's philosophy from TTDS "forget the children! save yourselves!" fma

You aren't being very friendly, Triam. Maybe you should take some happy pills. They are good for you, ya know.

I think that smoking inside is a problem in Germany, at least. It is in the States as well. Everywhere I have been in Europe people are allowed to smoke inside. Was that your question, T?

call me Sam, angel.

my question is.. .kind of what you just answered. Like I said, I think it's a law for most places here that you can't smoke inside, the only places I've seen indorr smoking lately is IHOp and Village Inn, these breakfast-y restaurants. right? so... I'm saying it's not such a big issue where I'm from, and I wanted to know if people actually had to deal with it a lot.

And I'm being plenty friendly. for real, I just wanted an answer to my question and I get grilled over "save the children".

I was just picking on you, Sam. Don't be angry.

Yeah, I get why you asked the question now. It is actually quite an issue where I am. People smoke inside almost every building over here.

As a rule, I wouldn't date a smoker. I'm sure the majority of them are nice people but cigarette smoke does tend to stay with a person. Sharing a kiss (or something else) isn't for me, if the lady is a smoker.

Sorry.

I 100% agree my friend. I feel the same way you do about the opposite sex.

On a side note, I don't mind being in a pub with smokers as long as it's a good ventalated area. I think smoking in public indoors is fine as long as you can seperate the non smokers from the smokers and have plenty of those ceiling extractor fans in the smokers area.

I guess that is okay. But there aren't many places that allow smoking AND that have effective ventilation.
