As for Iran and Korea, I wouldn't be surprised if they're gone after, as well.

So sould every country, or even person be killed because they hate the US? He was re-arming with what? There was no proof that anything had been brought in to help him with this.
Dont you think that is Saddam HAD Missles he would ahve used them when the war started. If he was that much of a threat to the US then he would ahve attacked as soon as Bush declared war.

Yes, good morals. In my opinion, gay marriage should not be allowed. He IS, however, in favor of certain rights for gay couples, which I also agree with. He's against abortion, and abortion is just WRONG. He's for people making their own lives, being able to take control of their future. I'm all for that, too. Why should we do what's good for France? Or Germany? They don't want what's best for us. We are aiding the world by fighting terror. (And, so y'know, 75% of Al-Quaeda leaders have been caught, and 3,200 Al-Queda besides that) How are we hurting anyone? We've liberated Iraq. And Afghanistan had a free, open election, with a HIGHER voter turnout than even our own. Bad? Heh.

No, Iraq hadn't killed many yet. It's not a chance I would be willing to take, myself. Saddam had every motive, as was demontrated in the Oil for Food scandal.

Why shouldnt Gay Marriage be allowed? They are people, they have the love who they want to spent the rest of their life with and get all the benifits of a marriage. I TRUELY dont see how that it anyones elses business, no less a govenment issue.
And To abortions, a womans body is her own. I personally do not condone them, but who are we to put the resrictions on someone else who wants it.
Why Should you do whats only good for you? America is really the most powerful country in the world right now. You are in control of the world. So a leader should be chosen who is able to grasp that and is able to make decisions for not only his own country but for the world.

As Michael Savage puts it (No, this isn't my speaking) "Why do we want to degrade the sancitiy of marriage, by putting a guy in a wedding dress? What does that say to our 10 and 11 year old kids?" I don't think I really need to add to that. I'm not anti-gay. They should be allowed certain rights. Marriage is not one of them.

And it's NOT her own body, when it's the CHILD'S life. 32 million killed since 1972, in the U.S. alone. THAT'S great, isn't it? No way.

Who have we hurt? Huh? So the U.N. objected. The U.N.'s a joke. We don't live in a one-world system, and the U.S. is NOT going out and taking over countries, making them U.S. colonies.

LISTEN to the Oil for Food scandal, it's INCREDIBLY revealing! He was raising money he was going to use specifically in weapons' programs, and paying high-level officials in the U.N. to agree with him, and vote against the U.S. The sanctions were falling apart.

But WHY shouldnt they be allowed certin rights? What makes them different. THey like the same sex? So...... any other point to that? It doesnt matter. Why do we now live in a world where everything we do, and even who we Love we are being procicuted for.

Abortion is a hard topic for me, as one of my best friends was almost aborted, but i think it is something that still remains in the choice of a woman. Would the child rather grow up abused and miss treated.

Who have you hurt? Millions of Iraqi's, and Afgai's, countless muslams, hindu's and sikhs in america. Once we start to believe that the UN is a joke, it becomes a Joke. It is the one union between all countries, the one thing keeping the world from breaking out into another WW.

Only certain rights?

Equality Rights: Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age, or mental or physical disability.

Denying homosexuals the right to marry is discrimination based on their sexual orientation.

Here is not the place to debate gay marriage. I've said what I've wanted to say about it on this site a million times. I'm tired of doing so. If you want my argument, check one of the existin gay marriage topics. Abuse and mistreatment is a sad cycle. It doesn't mean the child cannot grow up to be a fine person. If you agree for equal rights, do children, Human beings, not have the right to life? Apparently not.

The U.N. hasn't prevented any wars or done anything at all. They have no police power. They are a loose confederation of a few members, who have to pay to be there. They are a joke. We've freed more Iraqis and Afghans than any we've hurt. Saddam was hurting his own people before we came. The muslims...we've hurt them in the U.S.? I'm afraid I haven't seen that. Radical muslim terrorists should be caught, tried, and punished. those who are not, that are investigated and found innocent, are free to go and do as they please.

I agree that the U.N. is ineffective. But it's rather duplicitous to first disregard the U.N., then go back to them and ask them for financial and administrative help in Iraq . . .

We've tried to get the U.N. involved, because others would like that, and it would be nice to get their help. They refuse to provide that.

THe bottom part is not true. I have a friend who's last name was Bin-ladin and was investigated and questions for hours, found innocent but then sent her out of the country. She was not allowed to come back in, and her masters, which she was in the process of completeing was disregared.
My cousin, who is of british birth, but lives in a very tourist area of the middle east is questioned for HOURS every time he goes back to America (Where he goes to school). And I'm sure that they watch him very carfully in America as well. So "Do as they Please" is not true.

And I guess you havent been aware of all the racisim and horrible abuse that the muslims had to endure by some people in america.

Ok you've Freed more people they you've hurt. But you've Hurt them, and those lives Mean something.

Ok, I'm sorry but Fox COMPLETELY is biased. The amount of stuff that is shown up here and has never once been shown in america is amazing.

The heck Fox is biased. If you want it from another source, you're free to find it yourself. The incident with your friend is regretful, and it shouldn't have happened. It doesn't happen all over the place, though. And yeah. I am aware of the problems with Muslims. Also regretful. That isn't our government at work, though. That's our people, and people who are wrong. However, in my hometown, there was certain reason for it. A Muslim man praised the 9/11 attacks, saying we had it coming. The guy behind him in line smacked him over the head with a 6-pack. Wrong, maybe. Deserving, perhaps some. And I agree their lives mean something. This is war. It is, at heart, an attempt at helping keep people with sinister plots from killing more people than that. Again, as I said, maybe if Kerry gets elected and the war goes to heck, then people might learn something. I would be entertained, in an unfortunately bad way. But I don't trust my friends who are going into the military to Kerry. I don't trust it at all.

No i dont mean the link, I'm going to read that, but it just stured a thought. But when i was following the war (and i was following it VERY closely) I would flight between CNN and FOX and their documentations of everything were twisting the truth, or not giving the full story. When i would flick to Canadian channels or British, the story would be different. It's just one sided to please the public.

Saying everyone's biased never helps anything. It's like people trying to figure out if O'Reilly leans Right or Left. Dems say he's conservative, Republicans will tell you he's falling to the liberals. People debate whether the media is liberal-biased or conservative-biased. One could argue the other countries are biased. I'm not going to do that, because it's impossible to convince someone that something is or is not biased, if they precieve it that way.

With that kinda mentality we wouldn't have gone after the Japanese when they bombed at Pearl Harbor because Japanese Americans would be hurt at home. Which unfortunetly they were. But what do you want us to do? Lay down and die. They attacked us first. The Muslim Fundamentalist must pay for murdering our citizens. Does that mean all Muslims are evil. Absolutely not. There are so many good Muslims and they are relatively peaceful. But to say because we shouldn't fight because feelings may get hurt is just....not smart.

The British and Canadian media are baised against the war and America generally. Some of the American media is biased towards the right, and some to the left. You have to have a look around, and remember what stations have what. Then in the future if this is proved right, and it keeps happening then you know generally that station is trustworthy. Some of the stuff that is covered here hasn't been covered in America, but some stuff in America isn't covered here.

FOX News is the ONLY non-left Wing biased TV outlet, with the Washington Times being the only Newspaper.

Let's face it, all media outlets are biased in one way or anouther. National Public Radio is your best bet for an unbiased story.

No, it doesn't. It is CLEAR, for instance, that CBS and CNN are biased toward the left--even my Liberal teachers aknowledge it.

WHAT! NPR, UNBIASED! Are you crazy! The only unbiased outlet is CSPAN, but NPR! That is COMPLETELY Liberal biased, and to say that it isn't is CRAZY! Wow!
btw, it's run by PBS, and PBS is VERY Liberal biased, and NPR is AS BIASED, if not more than, CNN!

^ Yeap.

And as I said RM, it depends on your position as to what is biased. Some is obviously biased as you said. But if you are far right then something that is medium right, and that appears very right biased to left people, could be biased to the left for the hard wing right voter. It all depends on your perspective. It was shown just there. You think that a certain station is liberal, but ILoveHarry thinks that it is in the middle.

Actually...most liberals agree that NRP and PBS are liberal. Really. My dance teacher is a Hippy. She doesn't think it's liberal ENOUGH, but she does recognize its liberal...ness.
