it should be quite possible, just not as fast as the trek ones.

oh yeah, well we might beable to get voice activated ones but if trek ones have bio-neural circutry not so easy

exactlly.....It is going to take at least 100+ years to even come close to mimicing the trek turbo lifts whatsoever.and dont even get me started on trek tecnology

I think turbo lifts would be cool, but as mentioned earlier I do not think they would be feasible for short distances, like from a second floor to a first floor only, that my opinion.

yeah they are elevators. They go faster and they are cooler but they are basically elevators.

we already have 'turbolifts'. They are just horizontal/vertical elevators.

Turbo lifts go faster though and run on diferent princpls of movement then the elevators do, we don't have them, we don't even have voice activated elivators yet.
