Sorry about the delay in replying. Anyways, I'd be happy to help out with the story. I don't know if I can handle the entire story, but I'll try and help out. I like your ideas about the alien technology being something completely unexpected.

All right, we need to sum up all of our ideas, and decide what we want to use and don't want to use. I'd do this now, but I just got home from a wedding, and I'm kind of beat. I may not get this done till Monday or Tuesday since tomorrow is my b-day, and I'll obviously be busy.

And to La Forge, once we get all of our ideas down, we can talk a bit more and find out how we want to split up the workload for story writing. You can take as much or as little as you want, then I'll just pick up the rest.

I promise when I get back I'll go full force into the RPG. In the meantime, anyone who wants to contribute anything, feel free to work on whatever. Looking forward to see what you can do with this. I recently hatched a cool idea for a seperate RPG, not related to this at all. Don't exactly know any details, such as a story and so forth...There will be vampires, however, thats for sure.

But meh. We'll see if I get anywhere with it.

It will most likely be loosely based on a P&P RPG phenomena called "The World of Darkness". There are also two PC games based on this world; "Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption" and "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines".

If you haven't heard of them, there's plenty of information around the web, and at wikipedia. Check it out.

Your RPG looks cool, Captain Dappet. Although you might have some problems getting members. As a GM, I've learned RPers don't like to read a lot of information (ironic no...?).

I am curious: Do you have an actual plot lined up? I read over the story and I understand the information, but I meant for our characters.

I'll try to edit it to make it clearer. The plot, as it is now, however, is very simple: to drive the Sabbat out of the city. They're the bad guys, so to speak.

Thanks, but what I meant was are all our characters together? Seperate (doing their own thing...?)? How does the story connect us is what I meant to ask. Sorry for not being clear on that.

The Masquerade is what brings them all together. If the existance of Vampires was to be revealed to mankind...well, doesn't take a genius to figure out what would happen.

But at the same time, even if protecting the Masquerade is a common interest, there are other conflicts and power struggles that will make things just a little bit more interesting.
