Yeah, you're remembering it wrong. The PEOPLE DO vote for their Senator. You're getting that confused with one of the ideas of one of the founding fathers, I believe, or you're mixing some things up. For instance, Pete Coors wasn't elected Senator of my state, CO, because of the PEOPLE, not the Representatives.

And yes, I want a fair judge, of course. It doesn't have to be conservative, but not liberal. That's activist. However, Conservatives tend to be originalist, and that's what we need--originalist, not activist, judges. And somebody like Roberts, or like Rhenquist was, is going to be a fair judge.

i dont mean to sound pessimistic, but i dont think we'll win, since the insurgency is never going, to end, it has too many willig volunteers.
