I feel pity for people who blame a person who hasn't been president for over 4 years now for the problems we have now. "Clinton this and Clinton that" get over it the person to blame for the problems we are having now is Bush.

Actually, I attribute Bush Senior's loss to two things--Clinton is, I must admit, a VERY good politician. And has everyone forgotten Ross (Was it 'Russ'? I forget...) Puro? He took a great deal of the conservative vote, and the attention, away from Bush. If Puro hadn't gone downhill after the supposed "Threats" against his family, he had a good chance of actually winning. So I've heard.

Perot got 21% of the popular vote in 1992. Anyone who thinks Clinton would have won without Perot running is living in a dreamworld.

And D_Star, nice arguments. Perot totally threw the election off. He was the first viable third-party to come along.

I'm talking the truth--that the Clinton Gore Recession brought on the beginnings of a lower economy, and that played a key role in the job losses and lowering economy, and add that to 9/11, and you have a damaged economy.

If you actually looked and interpretted what you saw, you would see that the econemy started to go down the last months of the Clinton presidency. Of course, why would you go look at something that could actually appear to not agree with your own personal agenda ? And hellloooooooo 9/11. They struck at our econemic epicenter...the world trade center. But of course, why would we want to consider that a cause when we could just blame everything on Bush ?
