I play trumpet and wouldn't spend more than 1300 on a musical instrument, then again I may be cheap.

I am also in high school, junior. My sister plays clarinet, but I haven't touched an instrument since 4th grade

French horns at the cheapest cost about $1800 and that goes up to about $12 000. After that it gets crazy, I hope to get one soon, but amn't sure if I will. Expensive, even for the cheap ones. I also started to play the guitar, but didn't have enough time to keep it up. I might try again some time, but can't at the moment.
