Yeah...I am pretty sure that the Catholic Church teaches that you are not to do that kind of stuff. However, I would not treat you like that, and they should not either.

Well, that would be religion bashing,

Roman Catholic, Born and Raised.

I no longer heavily practice the religion. there are to many Religious fanatics around that almost completely turned me away from religion.

I dont close mind to god but i am not totally open to it. I dont know if god exists or not and i am not going to close the fact that an alien may be god to us..............................

I dont disagree with any religion except one which i am not gonna mention cause i dont want to be called a Racist but to thesmart ones out there i give a hint. They are a major religon in the world.

No Offense to anyone but I started this topic to see what religion you are or are affiliated with, I don't really want to know what religions you disagree with or what religion you think is the "Truth" judging by what religion you are it will differ obviously

My family is Lutheran, although I'm not religious in any way. But I do respect other people and their religions.

Some christian once told me that I will go to hell not heaven when I die because I don't go to church nor believe in god. I said at least all my family will be together if that is the case

Thats also if we actually do go somewhere after death.

I'll be looking forward to it,

The church really needs to change some things, I think; needs to get out of it's 5th century mindset.

I don't know why not going to church means you're going to hell. Most Christians believe that you should believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven (yes, I know you will call this narrow minded but it's what they, and myself beleive). Others think that it is through actions that you get to heaven. Some beleive that it is through faith and actions. Calvinists think that God has selected certain people to go to heaven and we can do nothing about it. Finally Catholics also believe that you have to be baptised to be able to gain salvation, although this view is changing more.

If there is a hell (which in my view there is, but I'm not going to bash you) then it wouldn't make a difference if your family and friends were there, as you wouldn't be able to recognise them.

Yes, indeed. I also think after death is beyond anyones explanation, even scientists. Thinking there is a heaven may be their beliefs, but it seems more like mind ease to me.

For me, I don't care what happens after death. I make the most of my life before I die and that will be fine for me.

Well, ok, so I was raised Presbyterian, but now I'm just... regular. I think. I just took this Belief-o-matic test my little brother showed me and it said that I'm a "Mainline to Liberal Christain Protestants" and the description fit really well... though I don't like being labeled as Liberal... ew...

I was raised Church of England, and still hold a lot of the beliefs, but am still confused by some things, and don't believe everything. The CofE is pretty liberal though, which is causing a lot of problems in the Church at the moment...
