The bird flew between you and the target T? Talk about crazy. What type of weapon was it?

I had the .30 .30. I was aiming at the target, and half way between me and the target, an explosion of yellow, feathers everywhere, It was rather sad, lol.

sorry you feel that way, but the bird is dead. Nothing we can do about it now.

And T, i love a .30.30. Was it a winchester lever action, or a marlin?

It's a Winchester lever action. I use a folded towel against my shoulder when target shooting, especially in the summer, only wearing a t-shirt.

It's the thought that counts

The town I live in is incredibly safe. I live near Bangor, not in it. The only thing I have to fear around here is the animals that may be in the woods. I can't remember the last time this town had a crime.

I don't live in the US, thank you so much...I live in one of the safest nations, Singapore...even if you go out at 3 am you can still be safe. besides, most people will be asleep by then...

I haven't heard of any crime being commited in the general area for years, with the exception of a fight (2 gals) and a few fire scares...pretty safe, but the stray dogs that sometime visit the area are really violent, almost got bitten once.

Speeding and punks with their drugs. Big deal. We don't have any serious crime as a rule.
