True; I saw that episode a couple of days ago...I'm sure T'Pol said that Klingon Ships had no escape pods in "Sleeping Dogs" though...oh well, to hell with continuity!

Wow. I just watched 35 minutes of "Expanse", partly in due to my awesome internet connection. While I'm waiting for the last megs to download, I want to touch up on some stuff.
I like the direction this is going. Because of the natural unpredictability of any series, this direction could, in fact, pull the ratings up higher than anticipated. Everyone was expecting something to follow the lines of Star Trek, TNG, DS9, etc. Yet we fail to see that once the grander adventures had been done, what apparent use would it be to watch retread water and what the dinosaurs thought of their predecessors?
Season I & II definately had its ups and downs, but everyone would agree that the last six to eight episodes were better than what we'd been seeing the last couple of months.
Now whether or not it took them a day to get to Earth, that's really up to how you interpret the scenes from Ent. I figured it was in the course of a few months, notably during spacedock. The initial fight with Duras was pretty sweet, especially with those other ships popping out of nowhere but I didn't realize that Star Fleet, at that point, was pretty weak as it took 3 ships to cripple one.
Photonic torpedoes? Who cares when they were made?
As far as time/following continuum is concerned, unless they're going to make another series, following when Voyager returned to Earth and the last couple of TNG movies, I would recommend "QUIT BITCHING". These people are putting their heart and souls into this stuff. You'd get just as easily offended if someone bagged the hell out of Star Wars or whatever else you might be into. Simple as that.
But I'm really looking forward to season III.

It was a good episode. I only wished that I hadn't read spoilers for it as that lessened it's impact. Apparently it didnt have that big an effect on US ratings did it?
I enjoyed it nonetheless and IMO if Enterprise can keep this up then the future looks brighter already...the latter episodes of Season 2 were pretty good, I hope they can maintain this throughout Season 3...

I'm confident that, though following a trend, the majority of the episodes will be exciting!

IMO i liked ent from the start, and i wished theyd stop switching the plot from temporal cold war to alien attacks, but i cant wait for Seanson 3, 3 months to go!

For season 3 Id recommend changing the name to "Saving Captain Archer". Everytime the authors run out of ideas hes being kidnapped!

They consistantly stated that they are upping the action factor from now on I just hope the character development doesn't get lost in the shuffle especially Hoshi and and Mayweather

Dang. Has this topic been stickied ALL summer? Hopefully we can take it down with the season three premiere.
