The Borg are not resistant to radiation, and cannot addapt to nuclear blasts. And the armor would protect them from smaller, slow moving projectiles.

In many episodes borg have survied radiaton, they could survive high level nuclier energy with there personal shields, but watch First Contact. Picard slaughters two with a tommygun.

There is a weapon that uses a type of radiation called the Infinity Modulator, i think |
Wait a sec. The Infinity modulator automaticle modulates the weapons energy signiture (I think). However it takes a lot of energy for this weapon to it. Thats why it looks not as sleek as the Compression rifle

Ok, I said slow moving objects. Last time I checked, bullets shooting out of a tommygun were not slow.
And which episodes? I don't remember any episodes where the borg survive radiation. I don't even remember episodes where they dealt with radiation problems.

Couldn't they just make somekind of small deflector field like starships use (to deal wth the bullets)? They seem to be able to do just about everything else in ST.

Just fire a tachyon beam from the deflector and send them back in time!

1) It just doesn't work like that.
2) Send them back, they have knowledge of the future, so you're outta luck. Even worse.

No! Send them FORWARD in time so the federation is more advanced and it'll get blown up by a transphasic torpedo

Wouldn't they be able to destroy The Borg with some modfications?

No! Send them FORWARD in time so the federation is more advanced and it'll get blown up by a transphasic torpedo | no bad idea they will meet the borg of the future and come back and use all the information and tech they've gathered and use it to destroy the federation of the past and conqure (sp??) the races of the past, preasent, and future

Photon Torpedoes are indeed powerful, but no where near powerful enough to take out a borg vessel. No matter the modification.

No, because they would already be in the future, so they couldn't travel in the past.

No, because they would already be in the future, so they couldn't travel in the past. | No. If we can send them back in time whats to stop them in the future from gathering knowlege and then travling back in time and using it to assimilate all of the universe and achieve altimite perfection

for one thing, even with their new strength, i doubt they could assimilate all of the universe, (especially if they were dumb and thought hey we're better now lets take on species 8472 ) but when i said send them forward in time, i was talking about in federation space, considering then they wouldn't be able to meet "the borg of the future" and the federation would annihilate the ship, btw its ultimate not altimite
