I for one was disapointed when i heard the ENT opening theme. All the trek series in the past have used classical music, there song seems to give a dumbed down look IMO.

But it's like love or hate, now is that real or fake?
Cause it's a real thin line, but that's your choice to make.
The question at hand, help me understand, is this your plan?
I think I can, can I think, then I think I can.

Oompsty you are 100% right. Classical music, Mozart, Beethoven, it is PERFECTION. Star Trek represents unity, peace, and sort of perfection. This theme they got is crap. I just can't stand it.

I was disappointed when I first heard the opening theme as well. It didn't really sound right at first, but I got used to hearing it each week, and after listening to the lyrics a bit I grew to like it. I think it fits well with the series, but I would have preferred another classical theme.

I like it... sorta. But he's not all that great of a singer... Give me a few weeks of heavy practice. I think I can blow him out of the water... and the next solo for Enterprise.

I want to. So when they hire me for the pilot of the new series, I will be the singer. Or an actor.

Well I know the soundtrack is out in the UK. I have never seen it in the shops but I have seen it on www.amazon.co.uk although I don't know if that's any help to you.

The Enterprise theme is great and it matches the opening sequence perfectly. Although it may be a break with tradition, we can't exactly adhere to the exact same thing all the time. There's a fine line between something being traditional and just plain boring. (The opening sequence is great too).
And as far as movies go, they are NEVER going to make a Voyager or DS9 film. Ever ever. Or an Enterprise one for the matter. It's just not going to happen, it's financially unwise and even if they did make them, I certainly wouldn't see them. I wouldn't even see another TNG movie. They should know when to stop.

TNG is oen of my favourite shows but it can't come back as Nemesis showed, the actors are getting to old...
my dad went to USA some time a go and i got him to tape Enterprise for me, when i hurd the theme song, i was shocked 'how dare they change it' but as i watched it when it finally aired in australia i begain to love it. IMHO the theme is great and suites the show perfectly, each and every theme song inspired and gave off a sence of adventure and the same goes with ENT theme song.
Its a good show and i loved the first season (thats all that aired so far in OZ) and i can't wait for the next, yes there is some really bad ep.s but the same goes for TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY...
