I voted for the transphasic becuse they are cool, but my absolute favorite is the Tri-cobalt torpedo. Like the ones that destroyed the caretaker array.

Some federation long range bombers have those standered, They are so cool, the best ever, they can even tare apart subspace.

Transphasic torpedoes are the best. They are very powerful and are from the future. I just love new technologies. Tri-cobalt explosives are kind of old. They were being used by the Romulans back in the days of NX-01.

Ya but they have a yeald 5-6 times that of a quantum torpedo, and can rip apart subspace.

my fav are the quantums, they are the most advanced torpedo, and are a true advancement from the photon unlike the transphasic which was only seen on one episode and contradicts what should have been a 'normal' steady advancement.

I like them to but who cares about shields, one tricobalt will slash throu shields, and if it dosent destroy the ship it will pull it into subspace were it will be destroyed.

You all must realize that as cool as tri-cobalt and transphaic torpedos are, they are too depremental to space (theoretically) better to stick with quantum and photon torpedos.

We all know that we are just discussing the coolness facter, not the practicality of them.

Transphasic. Definately. Any weapon that can destroy a Borg cube in one hit is excellent in my book.

Personally I think that both Quantum and Photon Torpedos share the same rank in my eyes. Quantum for seeking and for more hits and faster firing rate use the Photon Torpedo.

no, the specs would suggest otherwise.

Yeah but like I said, Photon are so much easier to set up than Quantom and others like the Transphasics.

Photons are not easier to set up. They're just a weaker, cheaper form of torpedo.
