Yeah, I have. Its OK. Not as good as the original. One nice thing is that it explains what happens to Thomas Riker (Will's transporter double) after he is put in that Cardassian prison.

The second one is OK, but not great.

As for Battle of Betazed...whole different ballgame.

It doesnt really focus on their relationship as the main story... its about the betazed.... different.

Thanks.. is it worth reading?

I'm waiting for the first one on order from Amazon - apparently I'll have trouble buying it from a shop here because it was published in America. I'm in the UK, fyi. But my library has Triangle (or 2 if you want to say it that way) and I read it while I'm waiting for my mum to pick me up from school.

Firstly, does anyone think I should really read them in order? I'm beginning to think that I should have done.

Secondly, does anyone else feel the empathic pain for Will as Worf steals his love? Gah! It's ripping my heart out! I HATE WORF!!!!

Thirdly, I've not finished it yet, I'm at the bit with Worf, and the party, and the fight with Garth (oops sorry spoilers there). But do these boring bits with Tom Riker actually have anything to do with the price of mince? I started skipping them coz they were boring.... so I'd kinda like to know if I'm missing aything major.

Ta much

^The Tom Riker bits would probably be more interesting to someone who saw the DS9 episode "Defiant". Did you?

I've never read the book...what happened to the Riker transporter clone though? I've been playing Dominion Wars (the game) and on that you have to rescue him from the prison thing. Wondered if this storyline agreed with the one in Imzadi.

I havent seen any of deep space nine My TV station shows TNG on a Tuesday (right before I go out) but only if there's noting more interesting, eg, Top of the Pops 2 (which we heard the first time and decided they were crap) or Snooker (boooooring) or Tennis (boooooring) or golf (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz). But I'm about the only person who hasn't seen StarTrek at least one time round, so I can't really complain. And to those people with no lives out there, startrek is a bit like snooker. or golf. aaaaanyway completely OT there. So no, I haven't see Defiant. I do have a premonition or intuitive feeling that Tom Riker stole the Defiant, which is the 'tough little ship' that worf nearly got blown to bits on in FC?
