I FINALLY found it on the other day! The episode was "Favor The Bold," and it was Part 1...I haven't been able to find it on again, so I have yet to see Part 2. *sighs* It was SO awesome...definitely met my expectations. Plus, there was Jadzia commanding...oh yes! *grins*

I think the "sequel" to "Favor the Bold" is called "Sacrifice of Angels". However, I haven't seen either one just yet......

Correct, Part 2 is called "Sacrifice of Angels" it involves the Federation fleet facing off with the Dominion one, Sisko sends in fighters, and only attacks the cardassians, trying to lure them off the lines. Dukat sees this and sets a trap, which sisko seizes as a "opprutunity, and [we] may not get another". The Defiant gets beat up, as the Klingons arrive. The Defiant punches through the lines, and heads maximum warp for DS9.

Kira, Quark, Jake Sisko, and Leeta are all arrested as a safety precaution by damar, and Quark and Ziyal break into the jail to save them. Rom and Kira fight their way to the Main Computer Core, with some help from Odo and the Bajoran Militia. There, they try to sabotage the computer, but don't have enough time. Instead, the sabotage the phasers, seconds too late for the minefield to be destroyed.

The Defiant arrives just in time to see the minefield go down, and heads into the wormhole (dukat tries to destroy them, but cannot). The prophets intervene and eliminate te dominion fleet (2000+ ships) and the Defiant goes back through the wormhole, and attacks DS9, causing the Dominion to retreat back to cardassian territories. At this time, the Federation fleet (200+ ships left) head for DS9.

The Dominion retreat, and Dukat refuses to leave, trying to find Ziyal. He finds her, and she tells him she helped Kira, and that she was staying with the Federation. At this time, Damar shoots her, and says "you heard her. She's a traitor." Dukat refuses to leave, and goes insane that his daughter has been killed. Sisko returns to find crazy Dukat in a corridor, and Dukat gives Sisko his baseball back (why he was carrying it around, I'll never know).

I can only get DS9 once a week, and the damn station (UPN) keeps cancelling it for dumb 80's movies that nobody cares about anyway.

I saw every episode Season 1, and then Season 6 on...But I thought seasons 2-5 got really boring getting into the Bajoran culture and stuff like that...Saw a few episodes off and on...

Bajoran culture? *is somewhat intrigued* (This is yet another instance where UPN infuriates me; making me be a mere spectator! The nerve of them! LOL )

Seasons 2-5 had some "culture" episodes, but it was hardly all that happened. IMO it was a nice change from meeting a new alien race every week.

Definitely Lindley...that's a lot of why I want to see DS9 so much! I like the fact that it's not just all "hey! You there! Yes, you, alien person over there! Come here so we can establish first contact the Starfleet way!"...gives it more stability. I have yet to see another DS9 episode. I'm really contemplating calling UPN and pleading...

^^If you have Scifi channel, you might try Babylon 5. Its not the same same show, but its similar in that they have to continuously deal with all the same species.

(Currently in season 1. Most people agree that it gets far better in season 2.)

DS9 is my favorite series

it's really well-written and there is more character developement.

Dax is cool, and Sisco is the best captain. However, the Defiant was necessary. Otherwise it would have gotten stagnant.

That is Sisco is my favorite. As far as actual abilities go, Picard is the best with Sisco coming in second.
