PostTue Feb 06, 2007 3:59 pm    funniest voyager moments

What are some of the funniest voyager moments/quotes you can think of??

heres mine: from episode Coda,

Chakotay: ...If Neelix has another Talent Night I hope you'll reprise it.
Captain Janeway: Oh no, not until certain other people take their turn, the ship's first officer, for instance.
Chakotay: Me, get up in front of people and perform? I don't think so.
Captain Janeway: Come on, Chakotay. There must be some talent you have that people would enjoy. Maybe I could stand with an apple on my head and you could phaser it off.
Chakotay: Sounds great. If I miss I get to be captain.

anything else come to mind?

^I think that was when the Doctor had control of her body (not sure though). It seems that the Doctor is involved with every funny moment on voyager.

nah, the episode where seven got drunk had nothing to do wtih the doctor... i can't remember exactly what happened in the episode although i do remember it pretty clearly. Neelix was touring somebody around, and they had a party and Seven decided to try some alcohol, and told the doctor that her "ocular implant is malfunctioning" and the doctor said something along the lines of "no Seven, i believe you are drunk".
.... its killing me that i can't remember the episode.

I don't remember what episode but Paris was doing one of his Captain Proton things with 7 of 9 and he tells her to distract the evil robot and she goes "We are Borg!" opens the robot up and rips out the wires. That was so funny!

Neelix touring somebody was in "Someone to watch over me" but i don't think Seven got drunk in that one. the only 2 i remember her getting drunk in were the one where the doctor hides in her body and the other one is when the crew is celebrating the slipstream drive at the begginning of Timeless.

Jeri Ryan is a good impressionist. She did the Doctor well in that one where the Dr was in 7's body, and she was a great Ferengi, in the one where 7 was alternating between the various people she'd assimilated. She'd obviously studied not just the speech patterns but body movement... I wasn't even aware the Ferengi had any, but her movement was convincing, and it was a lot of fun.

How about Janeway going to talk to her 'Spirit Animal'...I had visions of the little lizard standing up and trying to sell her car insurance.

Speaking of lizards selling car ensurance, what about the episode with Janeway and Paris' "Children"?
I found the end of that episode rather amusing.
Can you imagine a lizard, using Janeway's voice?
"Mr. Kim, after you finish drinking the last cup of my coffee, which, I will have to kill you for, perhaps, you would like to save a bunch of money on life ensurance by switching to Geico?"

The episode where the doctor hid in 7 of 9 was pretty funny, although my favorite was when the doctor was daydreaming; my signature is from that episode.

the episode where the doctor daydreams alot in is "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy". Its up there with my favorite all time episodes. Love the song he sings while treating Tuvok, and love it when the emergency command hologram is activated how the pins magically appear:P.

Seven of Nine first got drunk in "Timeless" at the completion ceremony for the quantum slipstream drive:

Seven: "My visual processors and motor cortex - they are malfunctioning."
Doctor: "Sounds like a problem with your cortical implant, we'd better have a look - hold still.."
Seven: "...I cannot comply."
Doctor: "You are intoxicated!"
Seven: "Impossible."
Doctor: "Your blood synthehol level is point zero five percent. How many glasses of Champagne did you consume?"
Seven: "One."
Doctor: "Obviously the Borg can't hold their liquor."

As for other funny scenes, I'm particularly fond of the sequence in "Inside Man" where the Reg Barclay hologram delivers impressions of the Voyager senior officers in the mess hall.

In the episode where the Doc is in 7's body-

Seven: "You became sexually aroused in my body!"

Also pretty much all of Q2 I found to be hilarious. Q's son is such a punk, I couldnt get enough of him, especially how he treated Icheb..

PostSun Sep 16, 2007 7:25 am    Seven and Neelix

Neelix enters the astrometrics lab and says to Seven with a big smile : "I'm ready for my singing lesson"
Seven: "I have decided not to teach you to sing, it will be an inefficient use of my time ."
Neelix: " Why?"
Seven: " Your vocal cords lack the harmonics necessary."
Neelix, now sad : "But I sound so good in the Sonic shower."
Seven: "Then I suggest you cofine your singing to that location.

Episode 6x10 "Pathfinder"

The crew encountered an inversion Nebula which is going to flair up:

The Captain:"Beauty and mystery, a tantalizing combination"

Tom Peris:" No argument here, (looking at Tuvok)right Tuvok?

Tuvok:"I am fully capable of appreciating the phenomena with out the extraneous sentimentality of humans" .

Chakotay:"Being moved by an emotion is not always extraneous, sometime its the whole point! "
