PostSat Apr 29, 2006 1:25 pm    Which Enemy Would You Have Liked to Seen More Of?

Which enemy would you like to see more of in star trek, or if star trek voyager was continued, what enemy would you like the voyager to face more often?

I vote for the borg because they are freaky...i just watched first contact again and they give me the creeps.

also how do they create the dead greyish skin tone on borg? is it just makeup?

Id love to see more of species 8472 because there's still alot to learn about there culture and why there cells cause you to disolve from the inside out. I find them a pretty interesting enemy.

they have very dense bodies.

They can't destroy them either because they can't adapt to their weapons.

I liked the hirogen, they were a very warrior like race. They did a lot of episodes on them thou. The Videans were pretty scary harvesting peoples organs when they are still alive!
The Romulans were not shown in the voyager series(that I can remember)and are a great advesary. The cardassians are also a nasty race, would of made some great episodes!

I wanna see the Vaadwaur again...you remember from Season 6's Episode "Dragon's Teeth." They were dormant for 900 years.....Ya, there's definite potential for another storyline there...but it HAS to be done correctly. It's an easy plotline...but can be VERY easily screwed up...

the show's very premise dictates that you would not see very many enemies (if any at all) cross over through season after season, with the exception of the Borg who were everywhere already anyway....why would any other entire race of sentient beings chase an insignificant starship crewed by 150 or so meager humanoids halfway across an entire galaxy EVEN if they were pissed off beyond belief with them?..

...unless of course, you are the Borg?

There was so MUCH Borg in Voyager. I'd like to've seen the Kazon, or definitely 8472.

Hm. There were some really good bad guys. Some really cheesy ones as well. I rather liked the Viidians. I wish there had been an episode or two with some rouge Viidians who traveled far outside of Viidian space in order to try and find a cure.

Something about the idea of a once civilized species falling to that level of scavanging in order to survive...It's interesting.

YES! 8472! more of them would have been pretty cool, in fact... a movie with them? Post nemesis? grand!

I think the Kazon got enough appearences, I liked the Hirogen to.

While you're very correct, and I agree that it was obvious not to have a long span of just one villain...There were still a couple of races that we would like to have seen again...

The Viidain Phage was cured by the "Think Tank" and George Costanza

That's right. Forgot about that.

Although, theoretically, if there was a ship of rouge Viidians they may not have gotten or heard about the cure. With some creativity that could have made for a very interesting episode.

I would have liked seeing more of the Cardassians and Romulans. Mostly Romulans. They were very mysterious and cunning, they always made for very good plotlines. On the case of the Cardassians, I love them to death as a good race to enhance a plot, so as long as it isnt that sissy Gul Dukat, I got so fed up with him toward the end of the series...

I don't think there were many Romulans or Cardassians in the Delta quadrant.

As for what enemy I'd like to see more of...

Probably Species 8472.

I know what species I'd like to see less of-the Borg. They were ruined thanks to VOY.

Species 8472. There has to be more to know than what we've learnt.

The Vaduare. They hinted in the episode that we would see them again, they were never mentioned again.

As for the Borg, there was already too much Borg in Voyager. They over did it. The Borg are not even scary anymore because of Voyager, We all know Super Ship Voyager will beat them. Even though they wipe out whole fleets of ships on the Alpha Quadrant.

Species 8472 or the Hirogen. They are both very cool and i would love to see them back again. Like Species 8472 invades Earth or the Hirogen finds a way into the Alpha Quardrent. That would be cool.

I have two choices.

1. The Borg

I would like to see the Borg again as they are most likely the most efficient and multi-adaptive species (Not sure about species 8472 although they have the most advanced and developed technology) The Borg would probably find a way to successfully overpower and assimilate members of species 8472.

2. Seska

I think she is a very intelligent, confident, manipulative and surreptitious individual in Startrek Voyager. Her knowledge of both maquis and starfleet tactics really helped her in her sabotages on Voyager although her ideas were still really creative on their own. (Really risky too, in my opinion) Based on her manipulative personality, I think she would have sabotaged the Kazon or kill Cullah if she had the chance at the right time. And although many of this opportunities were presented when she was with the Kazon, I really suspect she was waiting for the right time to sabotage and backstab this primitive, borg-rejected species.
