PostThu Dec 22, 2005 9:06 am    The Number 47 in VOY Eps

Would you guys help me find the number 47 in every VOY eps? Thanx
So far I've found two '47' ini Parallax Season 1
1. EMH was set with the experiences of 47 medical officers
2. USS Voyager's Medical Holographic chanel : 47

There's a whole site about all the 47's in voyager... : http://www.audiograffiti.com.au/47/
I don't know if I found that via STV, could be, but I can't remember.

Exactly, every ep is on that site, if there's the number 47 in it in some way!

what's with the rolling of the eyes?! I was just trying to be helpful. I hate rude people...

I'm over it now...

Thanks for showing that as mine Birdy.

I even notice the number 47 in every day life. Just randomly pops up!

Yeah, and there is a 1.47 microsomething or other temporal variance in the chronaton torpedo used by the Krenim.

I just picked up on this strange coincidence while watching Season 3.

Sorry voyager2004, I didn't mean to be rude . That rolling eyes indicated I was just trying to remember where I read thread about 47 before, because I've been in some forums, also visiting many sites, that talk about Star Trek. No need to be mad. Peace...Ok?

47s are all over voyager episodes, but so far I haven't found any in Enterprise

At that site I gave you, there aren't much eps reviewed about voyager and the number 47,... so I checked those eps myself, this is what I got;
Some are a bit doubtful, but I just put them here, to see what you guys think
Some are inverted the number 47.

Season 1
Time & Again
Tom: "Holding course 351-10, warp 7. We'll be passing a red dwarf system in 40 minutes."

Phage
Kim: "distance is 547 meters."

The cloud
Tuvok: "14 injuries reported Captain, nothing serious."
Janeway: "Any idea where we are, Paris?"
Tom: "Aprox. 70.000 km from our former position."

Eye of the Needle
Stardate 48579.4

Tuvok: "Dr. R'mor died in 2367."
Janeway: That was 4 years ago!!"

Ex Post Facto
Tuvok: "Numiri Patrol approaching bearing 067 mark 24

Heroes & Demons
Doctor: "I worked for 74 hours straight!"

Stardate 48710.5

Faces
Stardate 48784.2

Season 2
The 37's
Stardate 48975.1

Tuvix
Stardate 49678.4

Future's End, Pt II
Starling in shuttle: "Penetration point at 96 mark 047."

That's what I got so far, but I'm still watching old eps to see if I can discover something!

Those really don't count. Rick Sternbach, (I think it was his college) said that "47" inverted, meaning "74", didn't count. It would ONLY be 47. And this I'm NOT NOT NOT sure about, but I don't think it counts with "4" and "7" being so far apart. But I see how it could count, and I see how it could count ONLY if the number "4" was said, and then a sentence, and then the NEXT and ONLY next number was "7." Not like the Stardates you gave. Because those numbers are "48," not "47."

47 also appears in "Chute," because that's how many people were killed in the terrorist explosion.....that Harry and Tom were blamed for.

Ok, whatever I think it's cool to see how many times the number 47 is used in the eps. It's much more than you think, even if you only count the 'real' 47's in the eps.

^ Exactly. I'm obsessed, really. Even in other shows I'm watching on tv, if there's the number 47; a light is going on in my brain saying; 47! 47! 47!
So weird,

Ya, I do that with other shows I watch. As well as in real life alone. You'd be surprised as to how many there are. Like my youth pastor's back home have 47 in it...my dad's cell phone does...actually the last two phone numbers he had had 47 in it. It's crazy!

See?! I told you it's in everyday life as well! LOL

OMG!!! Me too. And with as big as I am on "47" and stuff, I JUST now realized it. I have had this number since the end of April 2005, and I just now realized it.

Ok, I found another one, it's a bit weird maybe but I thought it's a nice one. In the ep 'The Gift' Tuvok sais; "For 17.4 seconds, Kes's body went into a cellular flux".
YAY! I found another one!

Can I add another one? In 'Learning Curve' season 1, there are 47 replacement gell packs left, due to the lurgy cheese infection.
