Mon Mar 28, 2005 3:45 pm Summer Plans |
|
Summer is right around the corner, and i'm for sure thinking about what i'll be doing and planning it all out, as i imagine many of you are too.
One thing i'd like to do is go to Madison for a week or longer whilst my mom and her 5 sisters are in Ireland, and stay w/ my grandparents there in Madison... jsut to get away from home and all that jazz! My little cousin Kyle from California (I think he's 8 or 9) will be staying at my grandparent's as well whilst my aunt is in ireland, so i thought it'd be fun to be there with him too.
Also, I just got home from Madison yesterday, but my cousin Jacob had a pair of rollar blades - worn maybe twice, that didn't fit him anymore. I gave him $20 for them (he said i could have them for free, but i couldn't take them for free), so i would like to rollar blade lots this summer too!
On top of all that i'll be working at the dentist office still, and hopefully being a para in a summer school 4th grade classroom. Yes, i'll be dancing too!
So far, those are my plans that i have... what are the rest of you planning to do this summer? ANything fun? Work? Post here!

I shall be working with children, mainly. MSSP - "Marine Summer Science Program." Of course, my boss during the summer always leaves me with the tedious work, and when we get to teaching, the hyperactive, depressive, ADD-ish kids. Which is quite the adventure. Also going to be studying for the SAT's and doing a modern dance workshop that comes around once every summer.

Erm... I dunno yet... hopefully go and tour the UK, go to Scotland, Wales, maybe Ireland See other bits of England I've not seen yet.
I'd probably be better off investing in a rail card, and join the youth hostel association forst

Sometime in July, we are going to go to California for two weeks, so that should be fun . Besides that though, I'll prolly just work, sit around the house, get a tan...all that good summer stuff . .

I will most likely walk the four miles every day with Rachel and Emilie so we can sit on the floor in Coda's for 8 hours. Doesn't sound like much, but it'll be awesome.
Also probably gonna go to Iowa maybe disney or New York to visit Neil and Charlie. Oh yeah, and then Jimmy should be comming back to "oz town" with his band sometime in june, so we'll be loitering outside of walmart and target. Oh yeah, and we'll most likely drag him to 6 flags and force him on all the roller coasters. (he hates coasters) tee hee....
yeah, nothing special.

Work, work, work, work, work.
I'm gonna work in a home for the elderly (washing behinds and stuff ), and making a LOT of money. Probably more than 12 euros per hour!
And see if my boyfriend and I can get a little home in Rotterdam so that we can live together.

I'm going to spend my summer gaining experience with my build-it-yourself AR-15 gas-powered semi-automatic assault rifle.

I have no idea, although this summer I'll have a 4 month or so holiday, which will be nice, I'll have to look for some work I think. Next year I plan to do some summer camps in America and meet up with some people.

^lol. Me too. Summer all of a sudden sucks with no school. Work, work, Vegas, work, work, london?, work, work, school! (hurray for school. I can't wait for school. I'm serious, not sarcastic... lol). In fact... I'm so excited for school to start again that I'll probably take some classes at UCCS during the summer too. School beats work hands down.

I shouldn't even have the summer off, cause I need to work... But I'm gonna take a month off so I can enjoy my life, and feel like I lived! lol.
I'm probably going to go to lake havasue and visit my friend Greg... party a lot! hehe Then I will fly down to texas with greg, and see my family and have some fun with my old friends. Maybe an orgy or two! (jk)
Umm, that's about it. Just relax in the hot sun! Since I don't get too hot here in santa monica! which is a good thing!
