There might be some research for a technology like that, but have it by then, probably not.

I believe so, yes. We have been making some insane advances, and I think something similar to warp drive isnt impossible to occur in the next 60 years. Although, keep in mind, we'll probably end up nuking ourselves off the planet before then.

And BTW, you cant land on Jupiter. Its a gaseous planet. You would have nothing to land on!

and i we did it wouldn't be called warp drive
It would be called somat stupid like the 179 faster than light propulsion drive.

Well, there is a chance, but I'd say it's pretty remote, because it's just a really short period. Although if I could travel in a ship that goes faster than light, my life would be complete! So I really want that people discover faster than light travel before I'm gone.

I dont think so, we need to find a way of stopping radiation getting into spacecraft without 2 inches of lead. No point having long range craft if your just gonna die from the radiation

Think about it: If you're traveling faster than light, the radiation from behind you will never catch up. The stuff in front of you is a different story....

I think we will eventually get it, and who knows. it is POSSIBLE to get it in 60 years, but likely....not a chance. We are more likely to just have a massive nuke war.
