|
What is your opinion on life? Like, how do you belive we were created and if you belive in Adam and Eve or some other act of god how do you believe god sees us?
My opinion is God see's us like we see a movie, or we are puppets. He controls the scenes and out actions. What your opinion??

I beleive that we were created through the power of God. We are free to choose what we do, and are not controlled by God. However, he sacrificed his own son, Jesus Christ so that we may be with him in heaven and he calls us to imitate the life of Christ....in doing this you must die into yourself, and retract from all worldly ideas. ....idk if that is what your looking for but hey.......

I believe all the races were created simultaneously on the 6th day.
God sees us as his children. We're free to do what we want, love him or don't, but his love will always be there for us anyway.

^ ok, here's a serious question. I have nothing against that belief, but here. Do you find it hard to not have any explanation for your existence besides science? Because I know it would be hard for me. I think of God as not only my creator, my god, but also my protector, my counsoler, my father and my friend. I would just find it hard to have nothing to put my belief, trust or faith in that's bigger than me and that I absolutely know will see me through no matter what the outcome. But seriously, I'd like to know more about your beliefs in that.

^I am in agreement with Jeff, and I'm also a fervent atheist. I find that comfort cannot be the motivator for belief. Just because someone feels lonely (which I don't quite feel...), they cannot change their belief system strictly on the basis of needing comfort. That would be demeaning to both the person's intellectual integrity and the true believers of the religious practice. Does that make sense?
People always ask me, "Isn't it depressing to believe there's nothing after death?" And I tell them that, "While it's not really that depressing anyway, it would be an insult to my intellectuallity and your religious beliefs if suddenly I decided that I would convert simply because I needed comfort. That's not the reason you're supposed to convert to a religion. You're supposed to convert if you fervently believe that it is the Truth for you."
Am I making sense to everyone?

I disagree. I believe God created us. But people are free to believe what they want. They will soon see the evidence when God tell his son to come get his children. I am not forcing so don't take my words the wrong way.

Evolution does not disprove in God....I could easily beleive that God and evolution could co-exist easily....who is too say that God created us through evolution.

I'm an atheist(possibly Secularist, not sure there). I believe Jesus existed. But NO WAY he did any miracles, or that he's coming back. He was crucified. He died. Dead, and that means he's not coming back.
I don't believe in any life after death, either. If there is indeed one, I seriously doubt it is Heaven and Hell. But if it is, all of you atheists, agnostics and secularists...I'll see you all in Hell!

I believe in an Unseen God (Allah) who created this World, All Creatures, ALL Life and All Races of Man. I believe this may very well have been done through a process of Evolution and other Scientific processes, after all the God I believe in is ALL Knowing and Perfect. I believe that the story of Adam and Eve may have been true so I'm not ruling it out but the Story's Realness does not effect me either way... for me it explains why people are seperated from God. I believe that God continues to monitor us and that 2 Angels record what you do in this life and reflect on it on the Judgement Day.

I'll give you that evidence once you give me evidence that the wind exists. You can't. you can't see the wind itself, but you can feel it, smell it, see the effects of it. Get my metaphor?

God exists if people would open their eyes and heart. no i am not forcing lol I agree with Triam.
u may not see him but he is there watching over us. I can feel his presense. I know some dont feel the same way. thats fine, they free to believe what they want. But when Jesus returns I know I will be happy.
Get away from this mean world.

Well, from your past posts, it would seem that one can never be too sure, and I'm sorry, as I seem to have offended you,

Bah! I said myself that I was going to hell, didn't I?
Besides, I don't think hell exists, so to me...It's almost a laughing matter.
