How is it in Europe?

I am from America and I have always wanted to visit Europe. Whats it like over there, am I missing anything?

Yeah. Scotland in my view is pretty cool. The food's good, and the views are world famous. Unfortunatly so are the midges except they aren't really bad unless you go walking in a summer's evening mostly.

The things to do in most cities at least are pretty good. Not the world's greatest but you can do most things. Visit the cinema, go ice skating, play in bands and theme parks, as well as much more. American's like our accents (we also love theirs). I like living here despite the bams you get in most places.

Midges = mosquitoes.

Americans don't really sound that different to me. The only ones I can distinguish are people from the Deep South (is that right?). I'm thinking of Cleetus from the Simpsons. Nice stereoptype eh?

Any other regions I can't tell the difference between.

Americans can do accents from alot of other countries, but I've noticed that Europeans have a hard time doing ours. Like Michael Palin from Montey Python, he has attempted an Aerican Game Show host plenty of times, I noticed. But Ewan McGregor (Ilove him) does a really good job.

I just dont see how it could be hard to do an American accent.

I'm talented with languages, but I find American accents the easiest ones(and also the most boring

Sweden is a nice place to go to in the summers, especially the capital(Stockholm) or the south, where I live, Sk�ne.

Most people go to Stockholm, though, as there are plenty of old buildings and stuff. And the castle.

The Royal Castle and a nice view of Stockholm.

I find the American accent easy to copy. No does my sister. It's one of the easiest, except maybe the Irish one.

I find the Irish accent the easiest, followed by the Scottish accent and the American accent. I've got a mild Scouse accent, which is one of the harder ones to do. I've yet to hear someone who's not from Liverpool do it properly! I've yet to master the Geordie accent, but I can also speak with received pronunciation (no accent at all, can sound posh though).

Liverpool's a lovely city to visit, with museums, old buildings, and lots of Irish (a quarter of the population is Irish, and about 2/3 have some Irish blood in them!). There's also the Merseybeat culture, including the Beatles. Not to mention the fact that they're the European Capital of Culture 2008!

High Spen where I live is a pretty normal English mining village. It was placed under Catorgory D (no new building, left to die off) after the mines closed, but that's been lifted so we have some new houses. Which reminds me, I want to go to a thing about the history of High Spen which starts in a few minutes, so I'll say more when I get back

In all honesty, anyone can do an American accent, since America is many different nationalities. I'm supposed to be going to Slovakia at some point. I've been told it'd beautiful. Hope to visit Austria, too.

This is a picture of Pah-Wraith's and my city, Aberdeen. Most of it is made of Granite, hence it's name of the Granite City, or Silver City. It is also the oil capital of Europe.
