I think it's gonna take approximately 60 to 70 years. I dunno why. But It will take time to developp and then they have to build.

I hoping I'm still alive for when Warp first takes flight. But would we call it 'warp' or some strange name like plodipop?

It will takr more than 60 years, because they will have to find a way to make it where time does not slow down while you are going at such a high rate of speed. Because every time you would go to worp you would be agging faster than everyone out side of your ship.

No, no wars will be in space. Their is nothing to fight for in space but each other. No land to claim etc.

No not ageing faster, ageing slower.
They would get back and everyone they knew would be very old or gone.
I did a report on time travel, and found that when you are going the speed of light, everything around you goes much faster, but people watching you would think you slowed down. Therefore, you would be going in the future.

It's all in Einstiens theory of Relativity. Very interesting stuff

It was, but then something happened and I lost most of my reports that I had on my computer.

But there is a site on the internet that explains it really well.
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/time/think.html

It's think like Einstein, this site I think is very good at explaining.
Just follow step by step.
And if you want to read my report, I could pm it to you. But it basiaclly
covers the same stuff on that sight.

I think we'll have something like warp but not warp.

Maybe hyperdrive or faster than light travel. But it won't be called warp.

Hell, maybe we'd have ships that fold space!

I don't think we'll achive warp for a very long time, if at all. And probably light speed won't be actived either. I read somewhere that there could maybe be 3 ways to travel at light speed (300 000 000m/s2) One is something to do with black holes, which could be very dangerous. I can't remember the other two unfortunatly.

there are ways to travell at light speed, there is a rocket design that can therogiclaaty go at light speed but when your going light speed and hit any molecule you will disolve , it to dangerous to test it think

In theory you could use an ion engine to go at light speed, coz it slowly accelerates and will keep doing it for ever.

PostMon Aug 18, 2003 4:56 am    If you can perfect this

If you can perfect actually fitting in the power of the Sun X 2 into one tiny ship.. then yes it is possible... In theory it is possible. yet the military hasn't the guts to express these powers yet to the world or it would be exploited..
