				| This thread is for all of the people out there who enjoy/are obsessed with star wars and wish to discuss aspects such as books, games, movies, and spoilers. Or just to goof around and pretend to be Jedi....
example: Lonna pulls out her lightsabre and destroys something.

But it's totally about Star Wars...

I'll start off with a joke:
How did Darth Vader know what Luke got him for Christmas???

He felt his presents (presence). ba dum chee.

So has anyone read a good NJO book...I haven't gotten to read like the last few books of NJO because my English teacher deems them unqualified (she's insane!!!) so I have to read classic novels instead.

				| ^You can always read them in your free time, even if not for class.
Anyway, I'm still waiting on the Destiny's Way paperback. I did read Tatooine Ghost, though------its not spectacular, but its a solid enough read. Even includes some Thrawn cameos.

If there's one problem with it, its that there is *way* too much continuity with the prequel movies. The entire point of the book seems to be the let Leia know what happened to Anakin in Episodes 1+2.

				| The scary part is, I've read almost all of those.
The only ones I haven't read are about half the Jedi Apprentice series, the Jedi Quest series, the Boba Fett series, the latter two miniseries of the Young Jedi Knights Series, and any but the first of the Junion Jedi Knights series.

As for forgetting, I don't see any left out that are part of the official continuity.

You didn't include the young adult books starting with The Glove of Darth Vader, but that doesn't fit into the chronology of the rest of them, and so we should pretend it never existed in any case.

EDIT: Oh, I didn't see Shatterpoint in there, or the upcoming prequel novels by Timothy Zhan. But since they aren't out yet, that's OK.

				| Same here. I missed reading the Callrisean Series, all of the Junior jedi Knights (I don't consider it much of a series to begin with), those Darth Maul books and some of the Young Jedi Knight series.
Lindley you MUST read the Boba Fett series... It's really good.

And I will soon enough... Still haven't found the exact chrome paint I need.

				| But the authors intoduce Tahiri pretty well, because I haven't bother to read any of the JJK series and I know pretty much all about her and her past ect.
And yes...I forgot to add some of the unreleased...sry. I'll edit it when they come out or something.

As for the upcoming Zahn books...is there a lot of info floating around about them? He's one of my favorite authors. I'd like to find some info about the books.

I didn't like the Bounty Hunter trilogy; too much talking and not enough action for me

I've just finished reading NJO Force Heretic: Remnant and have ordered the "New Essential Guide to Characters" along with Force Heretic: Refugee. L@@king forward to them arriving
